Module 1: Basic Electrical & Refrigeration Fundamentals
- Basic electrical theory, electrical safety, and basic wiring for RAC.
- Refrigerant cycle system: components, functions, principles.
- Types of refrigerators: direct cool, single door, double door, visi cooler, deep freezer, water cooler.
- Identification and function of basic refrigeration components.
- Tools used in RAC: types, usage, pipe cutting, flaring, swaging, brazing, and introduction.
Module 2: Thermostat & Component Service Operations
- Working principle of thermostat; types and applications in refrigerators.
- Wiring and practical operation for single-door & double-door refrigerators.
- Inverter technology working principle & practical applications.
- Gas charging procedure for all RAC systems.
- Practical service operations: cooling coil change, compressor change, drier change, vacuum process, pressure leakage test, and brazing techniques.
Module 3: Frost-Free Refrigeration & Water Cooling Systems (100 Marks)
- Theory and working principle of a frost-free refrigerator.
- Practical wiring and troubleshooting of frost-free and inverter refrigerators.
- Deep freezer: theory, wiring diagram, fundamental operations, common problems & solutions.
- Water cooler fundamentals: cooling system, parts, wiring, common issues & their solutions.
- Preventive maintenance routine for frost-free, deep freeze, and water coolers.
Module 4: Visi Cooler & Air Conditioner Fundamentals (100 Marks)
- Theory and fundamental working of the visi cooler.
- Practical problems and solutions of the visi cooler.
- Types of Air Conditioners: Window AC, Split AC, Cassette AC – theory & practical.
- AC servicing basics: wiring, gas charging, leak testing, vacuuming.
- Component service: capacitor change, relay change, PCB basics in split & window AC.
Module 5: Inverter AC Systems, PCB Testing & Advanced Servicing (100 Marks)
- Inverter AC working principle, components, circuit explanation.
- Testing of air sensor, coil sensor, outdoor PCB, basic problem & solution.
- Wiring: inverter AC wiring, universal PCB wiring, cassette AC wiring.
- Practical servicing: condenser change, capillary change, service valve change.
- Voltage checking: indoor & outdoor PCB input/output testing and troubleshooting.
